Research & Data-Driven Insights
An independent South African cyber intelligence practice translating technical threat vectors into quantified financial liability for enterprise boardrooms and risk underwriters.
The platform generates proprietary data at scale — every assessment run produces sector-specific vulnerability patterns, breach probability distributions, Rand-exposure benchmarks, and regulatory compliance postures across industries. That data, in aggregate and anonymised, is scarce and institutionally valuable. The Intelligence Practice is the vehicle that delivers value in that insight layer above and beyond individual reports.
Mathematical Risk Quantification
We do not sell subjective security ratings. Our models calculate actual financial exposure based on active threat intelligence and localized actuarial data.

Actuarial Alignment
Continuous monitoring of active threat vectors across South African enterprise networks provides the raw telemetry for our risk engines.
We translate technical vulnerabilities into direct financial liability, formatted specifically for risk committees and insurance underwriters.
Our quantitative models align cyber risk with traditional corporate treasury standards, enabling precise capital allocation decisions.
Solution Routing
Identifying exposure is only half the problem. The harder question is what to do about it — which category of technology addresses a given risk, and which provider within that category is fit for the client's environment, scale, and budget. Most organisations answer this question through vendor sales cycles, where the diagnosis and the solution arrive from the same source. Hanois separates the two.
The Intelligence Practice diagnoses first. Its proprietary assessment methodology and ongoing market intelligence gathering establish where a client's exposure sits — not as a generic risk score, but as a structured mapping to the specific control category required to close it. Only once that diagnosis is independent of any vendor relationship does the routing step begin. your text here...
Curated Partner Panel
Hanois maintains relationships across the categories that matter — cloud security and SASE, endpoint and XDR, network security and firewall infrastructure, identity and privileged access management, vulnerability management, threat intelligence, and digital forensics.
Within each category, the panel is deliberately wide enough that a recommendation reflects fit, not obligation. Hanois operates as a partner and reseller within these relationships, but the panel breadth is what keeps the recommendation credible: no single vendor's economics determine the outcome of the diagnosis.
Structured Matching
Once a client's exposure is mapped, the Intelligence Practice matches it against the panel using the same frameworks applied during diagnosis — translating a finding such as "credential exposure across privileged accounts" into a short, ranked set of partners equipped to resolve it, rather than a single default option.
Where a client's need falls outside the panel's direct coverage, Hanois extends the same matching logic to partners of its resellers, so the routing function is not bounded by its own first-tier relationships.
